Greece aiming to reach a new deal with European partnersThe finance minister of Greece has reached Brussels on Thursday is aiming to reach a new aid deal with its European partners.

The move comes after talks in the Greek government failed over the issue of reduction in pension benefits demanded by international creditors.

Evangelos Venizelos, the finance minister of Greece indicated that he expects European finance ministers to bridge differences over the loan program at the meeting in Brussels. He was speaking at a meeting with a delegation of European and International Monetary Fund officials.

"I leave in a short while for Brussels with the hope that the euro group meeting will convene and that it will take a positive decision for the new program. There remain issues that need to be clarified by the time of the euro group meeting," he said.

They say that bondholders are realizing that they might have to write-off some of their dent to Portugal in the same as Greece. The euro-zone's move toward a closer fiscal union and progress in talks between Greek leadership and private lenders have sent a positive signal to the investors indicating a possible end to the crisis in the coming future.
