Four- year old Chinese girl has two toes removed to treat congenital disorder
Beijing, Sept 13 : A four-year-old girl who was suffering from congenital 'giant toe' syndrome has undergone surgery to remove her two toes.
Jia Tong had to wear adult male- sized shoes due to the disorder.
Though she was taken to Zaozhuang, Shandong, Beijing and Shanghai hospitals, doctors were unable to treat her.
But Jinan clinic doctors successfully operated on her on September 1, the China Daily reports.
She would receive further treatment in the following months. (ANI)
