Heavy Cell Phone Usage Causes Salivary Cancer, Says Researchers

A recent study has found that there is a relation between
mobile phones and cancer.

In reality, the mobile phone increases the risk of cancer to
the salivary glands, the study says,

Researchers viewed 500 Israelis who have had salivary gland
cancer and compared their cell phone usage with 1,300 healthy controls.

They found that the people who use cell phones on one side
of the face for a long time about 50% daily are detected with developing salivary
gland tumors.

The study findings appeared in The American Journal of
Epidemiology.

This form of the cancer in the salivary gland is found very
rarely.

It is said that people living in rustic areas have a higher
risk of having these tumors as compared to the people living in the cities.

The reason that people staying in the rural areas do not
have strong signals and they have to look for network antennas therefore more
radiation is emitted during the search that gives rise to formation of tumors
in the salivary glands.

But, many scientists said that there is no harm as there is
no connection between cancer and mobile phones.

So people yet don’t know whether to believe this study or
not. The link between mobile phones and cancer is yet not confirmed.
