32 new swine flu cases in Telangana; toll reaches 61Hyderabad: As many as 61 people have died due to swine flu in Telangana so far this year, while over 1,700 have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

"This year from January 1 till March 6, 5,419 samples have been tested, of which 1,731 were found positive. The number of deaths due of swine flu and other complications as on date is 61," a bulletin on swine flu issued by state government said here today.

A total of 1,581 samples were tested between January 1 to January 30, it said.

Yesterday 107 samples were tested, out of which 26 were found to be positive, it said, adding the number was declining with every passing day.
