Honda bets big on Eastern IndiaHonda Motorcycle and Scooter India Limited (HMSI), the 100 per cent two-wheeler subsidiary of the Japan-based Honda Motor Company is of a view that the recently launched product by the company i. e. the Unicorn Dazzler will play a very important role in driving the unit sales of the company in the eastern part of the country.

In fact, the company said that it is confident that it will be able to sell 500 units of the newly launched bike every month in the eastern region alone.

Anil Kumar Vaish, regional manager (sales and marketing) of HMSI's eastern region said that the company currently sells 10,000 units in the eastern region and the newly launched product will only boost the sales for the company in the coming months.

Vaish also highlighted the fact that the company does an average sale of 6,500 units of motorcycles and 3,500 units of the gearless scooters in the region. Running hard with a sales target of 15 lakh units this year, HMSI sold more than 12 lakh units in the last year in the Indian market.
