Tokyo  - Honda is unveiling at the Tokyo Motor Show a futuristic Skydeck minivan concept with a combination of sliding and scissors doors.

Although the Japanese manufacturer has released sketchy details there are indications the vehicle might be powered by the Honda Motor Assist hybrid technology. The battery is positioned in the centre console running the length of the cabin floor.

A unique detail seen on teaser images is the missing B-Pillar, giving unhindered access to the interior that seats six people. The front doors open and close in scissors style while the two rear doors slide away. (dpa)
