In order to create a world class SUV model, India’s leading automobile maker Mahindra & Mahindra is coming up with a powerful SUV model aimed to create a global market for itself.

Company officials publicized that their new XUV500 would make its maiden appearance in India by this December. Mahindra has always been known to manufacture strong cars and some of the many strong products produced by Mahindra& Mahindra are Bolero, Xylo and Scorpio. With unveil of the new product, they aim to replace Scorpio, and also to give stiff competition to other companies in that segment like Honda’s CRV, Skoda Yeti, Mitsubishi Outlander and also the new entrant in the market under the flagship of Tata, which is Aria.

Vivek Nayer, Senior Vice President of Marketing Department revealed that they wanted to come out with something in combination with Scorpio as SUV’s are already said to a luxury drive so they had made the car keeping price factor in the mind. Asking the price of XUV500, Nayer affirmed that for now they could not disclose the price but soon would do that.

India would share the launch with South Africa as company is thinking to launch it in both the countries, simultaneously.
