  1.   The Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab, published a notification for ITI Punjab admissions as regard the current academic session 2019-20.
  2.   3rd June will be the start date for the online registration process and the same will end on 23rd of June 2019 (the closing of admissions)
  3.   Eligible candidates are requested to apply for the admissions on and before the due date to avoid chaos.

For the eligibility of the examination of ITI Punjab 2019 criteria’s are all decided by the exam conducting authority. All the same, is requested to be read upon by the candidate before the application form filling is started by them. The relevant criteria that a candidate needs to fulfil are as follows:

  1.   The candidates seeking admissions and ones ready to apply must have completed 8th standard/10th standard all under the 10+2 system of education of any recognized board of education or institute of education.
  2.   Subjects like maths and science are must for a candidate in their previously qualified exams, in order to apply for Engineering Trades.
  3.   The requisite candidate must possess a domicile certificate of State and must also belong to the state of Punjab.

Criteria for reservations 

Getting in detail there is a total of 85% seat reservation for the candidates who are resident of the state of Punjab. The left 15% is to be provided for other state candidates. 

Severe actions will be taken for any misleading data or information provided by the candidates, the consequence of which will be faced by them. Hereby it is requested to all the candidates out there to fill in the application form only if you are eligible for the same. any candidate applying even after knowing that they are not eligible must know that the fees submitted is non-refundable. 

Punjab ITI admissions 2019 counselling

. The requisite candidates are required to get registration for the e-counselling within the time frame granted. The details as regards the same can be obtained from the official website of Punjab ITI admissions.

. The interested candidates need to fill in the application forms with all the relevant and correct details and once filled and submitted, a print out of the same needs to be taken.  As the same is done the candidate are hereby requested to visit the nearby DI for verification of the documents in original.

. Once done with the verification of the documents, the candidates will be eligible as regard the choice filling.

. The choice as regards the college and course needs to be filled in by the candidates.

. The choices filled in by the candidates will be one of the criteria for seat allotment done by the relevant authorities.

. Just in case a candidate fails to get a seat in first counselling, they are requested to participate in the next round of same and go through the complete choice filling process again.

. For the seat allotment, there will be 3 rounds of counselling.

ITI Punjab Admission process

. Candidates merit will be the criteria for the allotment of seats. The same will be prepared after considering the candidates qualifying exams marks obtained.

. A printout of provisional allotment letter needs to be taken out after the seats get allotted to the candidates. The same is hereby requested to be reported to nearest DI/PI in order to confirm the admission. The documents to be verified, the payment of admission fees to be done together with all other admission formalities that are to be completed on time.

Admission fees structure

The fees might differ for both the government and private ITI institutes out there and hence a candidate must obtain all the relevant information about the same before they try taking admissions. Also, it is to be noted that any candidate who secured good marks in their qualifying exams must be given preference for securing a better seat in Government ITI colleges.

Rs. 19,312 is the fee for the ones applying for Engineering Trade, while

Rs. 12,875 is the fee for the ones applying for Non-Engineering Trade.
