Jet Airways and Kerala Tourism launch ‘Jet2Kerala’

AirlinesPrivate carrier Jet Airways and Tourism department of Kerala have jointly launched 'Jet2Kerala' at the Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai , in a bid to offer lucrative tourism packages to customers, visiting the state for the ongoing holidays season.

Travelers can avail these packages from department's website to enjoy stunning natural beauty, temples, forts and rich cultural heritage in the south Indian state.

Tourism Secretary of Kerala, Dr. V Venu said, "Kerala has been positioned as an upmarket and high quality international destination. Despite the challenges posed by the global economic downturn, the international tourist arrivals continue to be impressive, with a 16.11 per cent increase in visitors in 2008."

The visitors would be provided pan India connectivity to three key cities in Kerala - Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode besides options to select a range of accommodation, budget hotels and houseboats.

Jet Airways would assist international visitors through its direct services from North America, Europe, Asia and the Gulf countries.
