Kaif hits unbeaten century in Duleep trophy

Mohammad Kaif has smashed an unbeaten century against the East Zone as Central Zone scored 367 runs with five wickets in hand on the second say of the test match in Duleep Trophy at the Gandhi Sports Complex Ground in Amritsar on Wednesday.

Central zone yesterday resumed their inning from overnight score of 150 runs for three wickets. Suresh Raina (98) was the first batsman to get out who missed his hundred by just two runs. Raina was clean bowled by R Bose who completed his three hundred wickets in the domestic cricket.

But after that Kaif and Parvinder Singh batted brilliantly as they added 184 runs for the fifth wicket. Kaif scored unbeaten 148 runs while Parvinder (113) also smashed brilliant ton. Parvinder was bowled by A Dinda in the 95th over.

East zone bowlers looked very ordinary throughout the match as Central Zone batsmen were allowed to score freely by the bowlers. Weather also interrupted the play as the match started in the afternoon due to fog.
