Gaddafi now a nervous wreck, says former aide
London, April 2 : Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has become a "psychological wreck" and was hiding in a "bomb-battered bunker" surrounded by his henchmen, according to a former aide.
Musa Kusa, Gaddafi's foreign minister who defected to Britain, has told officials the "shaken" leader was "cowering" in the rubble of his bunker, The Sun reported.
Kusa has given officials an "extraordinary account" of the conditions in the protest-hit North African nation.
He was flown to Britain earlier this week by MI6, the country's secret service. He was Gaddafi's secret service chief for long years.
"Kusa is cooperating well and giving us a treasure trove of useful material," a British official said.(IANS)
