Kapil Sibal calls BJP most corrupt party of India
New Delhi, Mar 5 - Union Law Minster Kapil Sibal on Wednesday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was the only party in the whole country that is full of corruption.
"Since last ten there have been no corruption charges against any minister from Congress Media never talks about other things like the ministers who have been convicted are still in parties like the Bharatiya Janata Party," said Sibal.
"BJP is the only party in the whole of India that is full of corruption," he said.
He further said that every election was important and that the Congress was prepared for the next elections.
"Every election is very important; in fact in 2004 India shining with former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was equally important," said Sibal.
"We are prepared and ready for the upcoming polls," he said.
Earlier in the day, the Election Commission announced the schedule for Lok Sabha polls 2014.
Polling will held on nine days, starting April 07 and the counting of votes will be held on May 16.
The polls will be held on April 7, April 9, April 10, April 12, April 14, April 25, April 30, May 7 and May 12.
State elections in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim and Odisha will be held simultaneously.
The term of the current Lok Sabha expires on 1st June and the new House has to be constituted by May 31. (ANI)
