Iraq blast kills nine

Damascus, Jan 13 - At least nine people were killed and several injured in a car bomb blast at a bus station in central Baghdad, BBC reported.

The blast occurred Sunday morning outside the station in the Allawi area, police said.

Last Thursday, a suicide bomber had blown himself up among army recruits in the same area, killing 23 people.

Iran to export tractors to Iraq

Tehran, Jan 11 - Iran will start exporting tractors to its neighbour Iraq in near future following the latter showing interest in its products, state media reported here Friday.

Tractors made by the Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company (ITMC) will be exported to Iraq in near future, the company's managing director, Abolfat'h Ebrahimi, said.
