Astor’s Son, And His Ex-Lawyer Indicted On Theft & Forgery Charges!

New York – An indictment unsealed Tuesday revealed that Anthony Marshall, the son of the philanthropist and New York socialite, Brooke Astor, and a former lawyer swindled money from his mother's $198 million estate, built from marrying into one of America's great family fortunes.

Astor had married Vincent Astor, heir to the real estate fortune of John Jacob Astor. She inherited about $60 million, which grew to hundreds of millions, allowing her to donate some $195 million to libraries, museums and charitable groups.

New York: The U.S. District Court Judge Denny Chin on Tuesday sentenced Oscar Wyatt, a Houston oilman, to 12 months and a day in prison, when the elderly oilman was found guilty of conspiring to pay kickbacks to Saddam Hussein's regime for Iraqi oil i.e. for making illicit payments to Sadam Hussein's regime under the United Nations Oil-for-Food program.

Linda Hogan Demands Alimony & Child Support!

After filing for divorce last week, Linda Bollea, the wife of yesteryear wwe superstar Hulk Hogan, is legally seeking a share of the multi-million dollar Florida properties of the family, alimony, and child support.

48 years old, Mrs. Bollea is demanding an unspecified amount for alimony and child support for their 17-year-old son, Nick.

Submitting legal documents in Florida's Pinellas County Court, Linda Bollea is demanding a permanent separation from her 54-year-old husband, whose real name is Terry Bollea, after their 23-year marriage broke down.

FDA proposes new rules for Outside Advisers on Drug Approval

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed new rules under which the outside experts will have to disclose any financial connections with industry which they review. The move will help to reduce the conflicts of interest among outside experts who propose drugs and other regulated products for approval of the government. The disclosure documents are not routinely released under the current system.
