Lenovo launches 'IdeaPad Yoga' for the Indian marketComputing giant, Lenovo ahs announced the launch of a new notebook-cum-tablet, IdeaPad Yoga in the Indian market.

The company demonstrated the two devices on Thursday and will be launched in the market next week. The IdeaPad Yoga series had attracted a lot of attention at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 when the company showcased the ability of the device to be switched between ultrabook and a tablet.

The 13 inch IdeaPad will come with a price tag of Rs. 84,290 while the smaller device with 11 inch screen will cost Rs. 61,790 in the Indian market. The switch is relating to special patented double hinge and the key board can be rotated 360 degrees beneath the screen and will allow the users to turn the device into a tablet.

The devices will also feature Lenovo's Enhanced Experience 8.0 allowing users to access a host of apps and also other features like faster boot up and cloud services. The Yoga 13 is powered by 3rd generation Intel Core processors while the Yoga 11 will be the ARM-based Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.

The two IdeaPad Yoga devices, which are the latest convertible to hit the Indian market, will come preloaded with Windows 8.
