Cissy Houston scores deal for Whitney memoirMelbourne, June 5 : Whitney Houston's triumphant, tragic life is being remembered in a book by her mother.

Cissy Houston has a deal with HarperCollins for a memoir it says will reveal the "unabridged and unbelievable story" of her Grammy Award-winning daughter, who died in a Beverly Hills, California hotel bathtub in February at age 48, the Herald Sun reported.

London, May 31 - Bobby Brown has dismissed rumours that his daughter is planning to adopt her late mother Whitney Houston's last name in a bid to distance herself from her father.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, is currently throwing herself into acting and singing to take her mind off the tragic death of her superstar mother earlier this year.

She is rumoured to be planning a name change to launch her career in the spotlight.

However, Bobby Brown is adamant his teenaged daughter will not change her name.

The track titled `Celebrate' has the legendary singer perform a duet with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, for her upcoming movie `Sparkle', the BBC reported.

The song is a breezy, uptempo dance-pop number about overcoming personal trials on the dance floor.

The late singer, who died in February this year at age 48, will be also receive a tribute from John Legend and her Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks, organisers of the event have announced.
