LinkedIn acquires B2B marketing firm Bizo for $175 million

LinkedInWashington, Aug 7 : LinkedIn is set to acquire B2B marketing services company Bizo in a 175 million dollar deal.

According to Enterprise Innovation, Bizo's marketing platform provides a suite of B2B multichannel solutions with a "full-funnel" approach to marketing that is said to complement LinkedIn's own.

Pointing out how the missions of both companies are "incredibly well aligned," LinkedIn's VP of product David Thacker, said that the acquisition would increase the ability of LinkedIn to be the most effective platform for B2B marketers to reach their audience, nurture prospects and acquire customers.

He said that Bizo's tools make it possible for marketers to reach professional audiences, nurture prospects and acquire customers across a network of business and professional publishers.

Thacker added that Bizo have also developed innovative products that measure the effectiveness of multi-channel marketing programs-critical to helping marketers navigate the complex B2B buying process where multiple touchpoints influence every sale.

LinkedIn recently acquired job search startup company Bright. com for 120 million US dollars. (ANI)
