Various car making companies are planning to come up with electric cars for sale. They have introduced some trial cars in the market and provided to the customers. For example, businessman of Oxford, named David Beesley has been driving this kind of car for last since six months. But the fact is he is not at all satisfied with the performance of that car and he wants to hand the car back to the company.

This has been a concern for the companies. A year ago when Mr. Beesley came to know that Mini was making an electric car in its Cowley factory he has decided to have one. Mr. Beesley had purchased this electric car named Mini-E in December 2009 as one of the so called pioneers who pays 300 Euros per month to take part in the BMW Group's electric motoring trial.

But after six months he has said that it was not a smooth experience as per the expectation. At the time of sub-zero temperature, the capacity of the battery of that car drops to just about 40 miles while during the summer time, it increases to 100 miles. These shows the car manufacturers have lot more to do, to overcome these issues.
