Washington, Sept 14 : Sir Paul McCartney believes in slowing down his car whenever the paparazzi chase him lest he suffers the same fate as Princess Diana.

The former Beatle confesses that Princess Diana’s car crash flashes before his eyes whenever he’s being tailed by the paparazzi.

So, the singer has come with a ‘polite’ way to deal with the snappers instead of outrunning them.

Contactmusic quoted him as saying: "Nobody''''s learned anything, so you find yourself in a high-speed car chase and you go, ''''I shouldn''''t be doing this''''.

"So you slow down, get out the car, (say), ''''Hello gentlemen, would you like a picture?''''" (ANI)
