New Delhi, May 15 : Madhuri Dixit's unique fan organised a small ceremony to celebrate her birthday in Jamshedpur city, Jharkhand.

Pappu Sardar, who owns a food stall, hosted a lavish party at midnight for the 47-year-old actress with cake and it started with prayers and wishes and ended with dancing. He also donated pencils, copies and books to poor children.

The entire colony was decorated with lights, ribbons and balloons and put many photographs of Dixit on display.

Sardar said that till the time he is alive, he will celebrate the actress's birthday in a grand manner and will try to do something again in the field of education.

He has been celebrating Dixit's birthday for about a decade now.(ANI)
