Modi entitled to a fair trial-Says I S Bindra

Lalit Modi Punjab Cricket Association chief I S Bindra has said that Lalit Modi should be given a chance of a fair trial. He has threw his weight behind the suspended IPL chairman and commissioner Modi and said that he should be given a fair trial for the accusations. Recently after the IT raid in various offices of IPL franchises and telecast right holders.

They have found out the financial irregularities as well as non submission of proper documents to the Government. After that, Modi has faced charges of corruption. On 25th April, the Indian Cricket Board BCCI has asked Modi to submit the necessary documents with a show-cause notice of such irregularities.

Apart from that, at the mean time Modi has to face the faulty franchise bid as well. This has cleared the way of his exit. He has been suspended by BCCI. But as per the ICC Principal advisor I S Bindra, IPL was a huge success due to the proper marketing skills of Modi. He was the person who had made IPL a global brand. Hence he deserves a fair trial.
