Motorola launches three smartphones in Razr seriesMotorola, which was earlier acquired by internet giant Google, has expanded its Razr family f smartphones with the launch of three new devices.

The company launched the Droid Razr HD, Droid Razr Maxx HD, and the Droid Razr M at an event in New York City, ahead of the anticipated launch of a version of iPhone from Apple. The devices have been launched for the US market and will aim at attracting customers with a host of enhanced features and sleek designs along with the benefits of the Android platform.

The Droid Razr HD and the Droid Razr Maxx HD are improved versions of the Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx. The new versions look almost similar to the earlier versions at the first glance but they come with minor differences. The Droid Razr Maxx HD is just a bitter thicker with 0.36 inches compared to 0.33 inches for the Razr HD.

The Razr HD comes with 16GB of internal memory and a 2530mAh battery, while the Razr Maxx HD comes with 32GB of memory and a powerful 3300mAh battery. The remaining features of the two devices are almost similar.

The Droid Razr M is a compact device with 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels. The RAZR M measures 60.9 x 122.5 x 8.3mm and weighs 126g. It is powered by dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM
8960 chip and has a 2000mAh battery.
