Motorola to release Droid Razr Maxx on Verizon

Motorola to release Droid Razr Maxx on Verizon Mobile phone manufacturer, Motorola is planning to launch its new Droid Razr Maxx smartphone on Verizon network.

The Droid Razr Maxx, which is claimed to have a 21 hours of battery life, will be launched on 26 January. The device is 8.99 mm thick and is thus thinner than the iPhone, which measures 9.3 mm.

The smartphone is powered by 3300 mAh battery and comes with 4.3-inch Super AMOLED HD-resolution screen. It runs on a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and features 32 GB memory including 16 GB built-in memory and a pre-installed 16 GB microSD card.

The phone has an impressive 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture and image stabilization as well as a front-facing HD camera for video chat. The users will also be able to use the device as a mobile hotspot for up to eight Wi-Fi devices.

Verizon Wireless will offer the device for $300 with a new two-year customer service plan in the country. The users will be required to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan, which starts at $39.99 a month as well as a smartphone data package starting at $30 a month for 2 GB of data.
