Motorola’s Droid Razr HD may be Verizon’s new flagship device

Motorola’s Droid Razr HD may be Verizon’s new flagship devicThe Droid Razr HD - one of the three new handsets which Motorola announced at its Wednesday press event - may well be the new flagship device of Verizon Wireless, which somehow hasn't had any flagship gadget since the Droid Razr that was announced nearly one year back.

According to Motorola's announcement at the press event, the Droid Razr HD will be coming to Verizon, the carrier which boasts a widespread 4G LTE network; and will feature a notably refurbished 4.7-inch screen with a 720p high definition resolution, marking a huge enhancement from the display of the presently-available Droid Razr model.

Some of the other attractive features of Motorola's new Droid Razr HD - which will run Android 4.0 `Ice cream Sandwich' version - include a 1.5GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor; 1 GB of RAM; 16 GB of built-in storage capacity; 8-megapixel rear camera; 1.3-megapixel front camera; and a 2500 mAh battery.

The splash-proof Droid Razr HD will also boast the back Kevlar lamination, which has almost become a standard with Motorola handsets. Extending all across the rear portion of the handset, the lamination will evidently make the device much sturdier, without leading to any increase in its weight.

The Droid Razr HD's LTE capability and its pre-installed Chrome for Android will hugely facilitate the users in downloading movies and music or streaming them. In addition, according to Motorola's claims, the long-lasting battery power of the smartphone will provide up to 13 hours of fast browsing and video playback.
