New generation ambassadors to be launched by next yearHindustan motors have claimed that they will be launching 4 new versions of their long known and acclaimed ambassadors within the next 15 months. The new versions are expected to be different from the existing ones both outwardly and inwardly, and are believed to be attracting all class of people, not limited to just institutional based buyers.

In an interview, the managing director of Hindustan motors, Manoj Jha, said that the company is trying to improve the percentage of ambassador sales in the personal usage section to about 50 percent in the coming months, which currently lies to about 25 percent.

Hindustan motors also aim to increase the monthly production of the ambassadors which is at present 800 plus in the different segments all over India and level up to more than 2000 per month in the coming time.

When asked about the reports claiming Hindustan motors divesting some of their assets to bigger name in the automobile arena, Jha dismissed the speculation and stated that they are not divesting any of their assets to anybody realizing their self potential and believes the coming year to be positive for the company.
