New Software allows Viewing of Human’s Internal Organs in 4D

A new software, dubbed cSound, has been developed that can show internal organs of body in extreme 4D. Researchers said that the method is quite safe. For the technology, sound waves are used to image objects.

General Electric has developed the new software. Andrew Liszewski said, “According to doctors, the new 4D cardiovascular ultrasound machines produce[s] images so detailed that they can actually see how blood flow is affected by clots inside arteries, or how much blood is leaking around a valve that's malfunctioning”.

Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee is the health care facility in the world that has been using this technology. Bijoy Khandheria, M.D., a cardiologist at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, was of the view that sometimes, they have to treat quite complex cases of heart conditions.

In that situation, they require best technologies, so that they can give excellent care to patients. According to them, the new technology is exactly the same and will help them to correctly diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients suffering from heart conditions.

Dr. Khandheria has termed the images from the new technology as exquisite. Normally used ultrasound allows doctors to have a view of heart, but not in such a detail as they wanted. But with this new technology, the problem has been solved.

They have been able to view the images of heart layer by layer. The software works along with an ultrasound machine. GE Healthcare said that huge amount of data to come up with an image of human body.
