Japanese auto major, Toyota will offer the third generation Yaris model from a staring price of £11,170 in the UK market beginning this September.

Toyota believes that the new Yaris will appeal to both; buyers looking for a quality car with value for money as well as to customers aiming for advanced gadgets in their cars. Yaris will feature spacious interiors, durable, versatile and efficient powertrains and other features for easy driving experience.

All of the models, except the entry-level version, will feature the ‘Touch’ audio system and also including Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port and rear parking camera. The users will also be able to upgrade it to ‘Touch & Go’ that adds satellite navigation with a full-screen map, and access to a Toyota customer link for various information services.

The models will be available with 68bhp 1.0-litre and 98bhp 1.33-litre petrol engines as well as an 89bhp 1.4-litre D-4D turbodiesel. The 1.0-litre petrol will now emit only 58.9mpg combined and 111g/km CO2 while the diesel sees a 7% rise in fuel economy to 72.4mph and a 6% drop in emissions to 104g/km CO2. The 1.33-litre petrol manages the level of 56.5mpg and 118g/km when working with Multidrive S CVT automatic.

All engines have been tested through Toyota’s ‘Optical Drive’ efficiency technology that ensures better efficiency.
