Nitin Nohria appointed as the Dean of Harvard Business School

Nitin Nohria appointed as the Dean of Harvard Business SchoolIndian origin expert Mr. Nitin Nohria has been appointed as the Dean of Harvard Business School. He will be the 10th Dean of the premier organization and the he is the first person of Indian origin to be placed in this prestigious post. He is currently working as Richard P. Chapman Professor of Business Administration at the same Harvard Business School. He is going to take over as Dean on 1st of July this year.

Mr. Nitin Nohria is a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Mumbai in the year 1984. After that from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management he has received his Ph. D. in Management in the year 1988.

Then he has joined the Harvard Business School as an assistant professor. He has become an Associate Professor in the 1993. He got a promotion in the year 1997 and became the Richard P. Chapman Professor of Business Administration in 1999.

Mr. Nitin Nohria has written several books on various teaching cases and co-edited many books too.
