Hyderabad-headquartered Aurobindo Pharma Limited has informed that Medicines Control Council (MCC) South Africa has granted approval to manufacture and market five more products in South Africa.

The products, which are got approved include Tab. Auro-Abacavir 300 mg, Auro-Abacavir Oral Solution (20mg/ml), Tablet Auroprozil 250 & 500 mg, Injection Auro-Cefotaxime 250 mg, 500 mg, 1000 mg and 2000 mg; Tablet Auro-Cefalexin 250 mg & 750 mg.

Till date, Aurobindo has a total of 36 registrations approved by the MCC.

The scrip of the company closed today at Rs 457, up 2% compared to its previous close of Rs 450. The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 503 and Rs 102 respectively.
