Himalaya Int Forays Into Nutraceuticals And Dietary Supplements Market
The Himalaya International Limited has forayed into the quickly growing nutraceuticals and dietary supplements market with the launching of four products under the brand name-'1 Daily'.
While lecturing during the brand launching ceremonial occasion, Chairman of the Himalaya International Limited, Manmohan Malik stated that the country's first frozen food company has joined hands with the US Global Reliance Inc. for technical alliances and has introduced four products compliant with global standards established by WHO and USFDA on nutritional supplements.
Himalaya Int. has rolled out separate supplements for males as well as females considering their different structure, physical, emotional, biological and physiological needs, and is looking ahead to develop into a top player in the 4000 crore domestic market of dietary supplements.
A report said that altering everyday life and increasing knowingness about nutritional supplements among middle class families in the country has provided a great boost the nutritional supplement market in country, which is likely to hit 25,000 crores by the next ten years.
"The converging economic and demographic trends in India have laid the foundation for immense opportunity in nutraceuticals," Malik said.
