Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has been made available in India at a price tag of Rs 5-6 crores.

It was further stated by the Mercedes' India director Piyush Arora that the SLS will be available in India in the third quarter, although a date for the same has not been officially launched yet.

This car is posed to be launched in July from Germany; also the news of launch is stirring curiosity and has sought half a dozen of consumers in this short interval.

The present day sees a boom in sale of cars also; the Indian luxury car industry market is rising and has around 10,000 cars a year. The economy is showing signs of improvement and demand is picking up in auto sector. The company has tried to tap the rising aspirations of buyers. The company is expecting to generate volume in the high end segment.
