Maruti Suzuki India Pvt. Ltd (MSIL) is known as India’s best selling cars and now with the launch of new Swift kept in August 2011 they have raised their bar. Owing to heavy demand the booking of Maruti cars is on the waiting list since 2005.

This new model would be in stiff competition with Toyota’s Liva and Honda’s Brio.

The new Swift would have changes to give it a different feel. The said changes would be in the interior and on the exterior parts of the car. According to Shashank Srivastav, chief GM (sales & marketing) at Maruti Suzuki the efforts would be made to give it a sporty look. He also told that bookings have been started though it would face stiff competition. Maruti would try to hold more than 50% share and according to him other companies would also try to have their dominance by getting maximum points.

Srivastav told that the customers would have an option to choose the upgraded model. This new model would be little longer and wider in size as compared to the existing one and would have a 40mm longer wheel base which would add to the leg room giving comfort to the people sitting inside the car.. This new car would be launched in August 17.
