German Auto maker, BMW has announced new London 2012 Performance Edition versions of the 1 Series and the 3 Series designed to celebrate its sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic games.

The new model feature sportier stylish interior and interiors. The BMW 1 Series Performance Edition is similar to the existing hatch back model, but comes with a number of stylish upgrades.

The model features M aerodynamic bodystyling, dark chrome 18 inches M alloy wheels, dark chrome exhaust tip and darkened rear lights and high-gloss 'Shadowline' exterior trim on the exterior.

The company is offering M Sport suspension, sports seats with blue stitching, M Sport multifunction leather steering wheel and gearknob, and floor mats with blue piping. The models will also have a 'London 2012' exterior badge.

The 116i, 116d and 118d three- and five-door versions, and all Performance Editions are priced £1,500 more than the comparable ES-specification 1 Series models. The models are available in Alpine White, Titanium Silver, Bluewater and Black Sapphire. Both BMW London 2012 Performance Editions are on sale now.
