Hillary Clinton Rolls out 10-Year Plan to Seek Alzheimer’s Cure

If Hillary Clinton’s plans are believed, we will have an effective cure to treat Alzheimer’s disease by 2025. Clinton, who is a candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 presidential election, rolls out a 10-year plan to battle Alzheimer’s disease and seek a cure.

The former United States Secretary of State also proposed new measures to support family caregivers. Experts believe that Clinton’s slate of proposals will allow the US to make an effective cure that could help millions of Alzheimer’s patients and their families in the country.

Alzheimer’s, which is the most common form of dementia, is among the most problematic health conditions in the US. The disease, which mostly affects older people, is also impacting the country’s young people. If health agencies reports are believed, the US has more than five million people with Alzheimer’s. If an effective cure is not found, rise in Alzheimer’s rate will be threefold to nearly 15 million Americans by 2050.

Every American, including Hillary Clinton, knows that Alzheimer’s is also one of the costliest diseases in the US. Some recent reports are showing that by 2050, the total cost to treat the disease may exceed $1 trillion a year.

In a recent statement, the wife of the 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton cleared that she is serious about the disease. She says, “My plan will set us on that course”. Many experts and scientists think Clinton’s promise is very accurate.
