In the opening match of the Asia Cup in Dambulla, between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Sri Lanka scored 242 runs losing nine wickets.

Sangakkara along with Jayawardene made a partnership of 83 runs in 102 deliveries. Thilan Samaraweera is knock down by Abdul Razzaq at 17 runs.

Akhtar breaks the Sri Lankan flow by taking two consequent wickets, first was Chamara Kapugedara, who caught for 2 and Farvez Maharaoof was caught behind for 1.

At last, Nuwan Kulasekara and Lasith Malinga lose their wickets at 14 and 16 respectively by Mohammad Aamer.
