The hopes of India Tennis Team to get another gold medal in the Bejing Olympics were dashed into smoke yesterday. The Indian tennis players Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi lost the mach to Switzerland’s Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka.

Roger Federer is the top ranked player in the world. The Indian pair failed in their attempts for fourth successive win at Olympics games as a team.

The Swiss players won the match by 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinals at the Olympic Green Tennis Center beating Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi.

World top-seed player Roger Federer has shown his determination to win an Olympic medal.

Federer while commenting on the success said that he has taken the revenge of lost mach played four years ago in Athens. The Swiss team shattered the Olympic medal dreams of India in just 22 minutes.
