The top seeded pair of India’s Leander Paes and his Zimbabwean partner Cara Black has stormed into the semifinals of the mixed double event of the Wimbledon championship where they will meet 12th seeded pair of Australian Stephen Huss and his Spaniard partner Virginia Ruano Pascual.

Paes-Cara duo has recorded a convincing win over the 11th seeded pair of Andre Sa and Ai Sugiyama as they defeated their opponents in straight sets by 6-3 6-3 in the quarterfinal in London on Thursday.

Paes-Cara duo used their experience as they broke the serve of their opponents in the first set and registered win with a double break after taking lead by 5-3.

The second set was also easy for the Indo-Zimbabwean pair as they won the set and the match which lasted for just one hour to move into next round.

Meanwhile, in another quarterfinal match Huss-Pascal duo defeated fourth seeded pair of Kevin Ullyett and Su-Wei Hsieh by 6-3, 5-7, 9-7.
