Paes-Dlouhy in quarterfinals of French Open

Leander-Paes-Lucas-DlouhyDefending champions Leander Paes and Lucas Dlouhy have continued their winning lead. They have managed to storm into the quarterfinals of the French Open doubles event.

Last year they have won the tiles and this year they were a step ahead to grab the trophy. They beat Santiago Gonzalez and Travis RettenMayer in Paris in a straight set.

They are currently at the third seed in the ATP ranking. Their opponents were unseeded and quite inexperienced as well. Paes and Dlouhy have lifted their game up to upset them in straight sets.

Gonzalez is from Mexico and RettenMayer is an American player. The seeded Indo-Czech pair has defeated them in straight of 6-3 6-4. They took 82-minute to win this match. It was a third round match and was played at the Roland Garros in Paris.

In the quarterfinals, Paes and Dlouhy have to face the winner of the match between Frenchmen Thierry Ascione and Laurent Recouderc and Polish pair of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski. Paes is the only Indian in the tournament at the moment.
