Pakistani cops arrest three suspected suicide bombers

Pakistan PoliceLahore, Mar 6 : At time when Pakistan is witnessing series of suicide attacks, Lahore police on Thursday arrested three person who were suspected to be suicide bombers.

The three persons, who were planning attacks on prominent personalities, were nabbed in Lahore, city police chief Malik Mohammed Iqbal told reporters.

“Police have arrested three suspects belonging to a terrorist organisation and recovered four suicide jackets, 50 kilograms of explosives, a number of detonators, fuses and chemicals from their possession,” Iqbal said.

He went on to say that the arrested persons belong to three different cities of Punjab province.

“They have disclosed during investigations that they were going to target important personalities and installations,” the Dawn quoted Iqbal, as saying. (ANI)
