Washington, Sept 24 : Pamela Anderson has admitted that she and her family are huge fans of the British royal family, and thinks Queen Elizabeth would get along well with one of her great aunts.

The Canadian star said the queen would be made to feel very welcome should she ever want to visit them.

"I'm such a fan of the queen, my family and I watch the queen's speech every year. I think she would get along with my Great Aunt Vie, who's 86, perfectly," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

The former `Baywatch' babe also revealed that her late great grandmother was a big admirer of the queen and was hoping to get a telegram from her on her 100th birthday, but sadly passed away when she was 99.

"In Canada you used to get a letter from the queen if you made to 100 years old, that's one of the reasons my great grandmother hung on so long , she wanted that letter. Sadly she only made it to 99. Grandma Sherwin, on her little death bed, was still holding out hope for that letter," she said. (ANI)
