Pay TV; the recession proof service provider

Pay-TVPay TV has a solid client base that was left unshaken even amidst the global financial crisis.

It was a situation when Pay TV had to ask for more and even charged more from users. Still subscribers stayed with them, making the industry recession proof.

This now follows a new study from the Yankee Group, US that claims that things will take a tremendous shift as twelve per cent of pay TV subscribers planning on cutting back or cutting off their cable and satellite TV subscriptions.

However, so far their is no straight reason as to why their is a cut back on services, and also as to why there is this trend for pay TV subscribers to cut back on the cost of premium channels and other related services.

Pay TV is considered as a big platform of business in US with accounts close to 90 per cent of home entertainment business.
