Yoga Camp for para-military forces to be held from tomorrow

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev New Delhi, Oct 16 : Baba Ramdev, the self made Yoga Guru, will conduct a 10 day yoga camp to impart training to personnel of Central para-military forces from tomorrow.

This is part of the efforts made by the Ministry of Home Affairs for stress management among the personnel.

About three to four thousand personnel from all central para-military forces will be trained during the camp.

They will impart further training in yoga to the personnel of their own battalions so that the personnel posted in remote areas can also benefit from yoga.

Baba Ramdev, who has created a vast following through his “Yog-Gyan”, has now Baba Ramdev Yog Trust claims to have discovered “Sanjivani Booti”come up with his latest discovery. Reportedly, Baba Ramdev's yog trust has declared that they have discovered “Snajivini Booti” from Drongiri Parvat located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. 

Baba Ramdev, following this announced that this is a really big discovery and further thanked the team members led by Acharya Balkrishan, who worked really hard to find this herb in the vast area spread at the hill. 

Baba Ramdev sends relief material to flood victims of Bihar

Bihar FloodPatna, Sep 9 : In a bid to help the flood victims in Bihar, Baba Ramdev, the self made Yoga Guru, flagged off 25 trucks loaded with relief material here today.

Food, clothes and shelter materials carried by the trucks would be distributed to the affected people by his workers.

He informed that his yoga school is running 20 such camps in the flood-affected areas and has provided food for almost 40,000 people.

Baba Ramdev's yoga session is a big hit in Tokyo

Tokyo, Oct 1 : Yoga exponent Baba Ramdev was a big hit at the 'Namaste India 2007' festival in Japan.

This year is being celebrated as the Year of Friendship between India and Japan. As an integral part of this celebration, "Namaste India 2007" was organised in Tokyo on September 29-30.

Held at Tokyo's Yoyogi Park, the festival aimed to enhance awareness about India by showcasing its culture, society and economy.

Japan falls for Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev

Tokyo, Sept.29 : Popular yoga guru Baba Ramdev is making waves among Japanese visiting the ongoing Namaste India 2007 festival in Tokyo.

Baba Ramdev interacted with several groups of Japanese, giving yoga lectures and demonstrations. Prominent among those who interacted with him were members of Pasona, Japan’s multibillion-dollar HR Company.
