London, Feb 24: R&B singer Beyonce has been accused on the Internet of having mimed during her Oscar performance on February 22.

The 27-year-old singer was performing a duet with show host Hugh Jackman at LA''s Kodak Theatre, where they paid tribute to musicals, working their way through a medley, including hits from Chicago and Moulin Rouge.

But those watching the performance were sceptical as to whether Beyonce, a. k. a. Sasha Fierce, sang live or had some technical help.

Washington, Feb 21: She must be one of the richest celebrities, but Beyonce Knowles has not spent any of her multi-million dollar fortune in buying luxury items like diamonds and cars.

The R and B superstar was recently named the richest star under 30 years old, and has an estimated 80 million dollars in the bank.

But, when it comes to spending, Beyonce says that she's too frugal to buy fast cars or expensive jewellery, and has invested all her earnings wisely.

"Honestly, I''m very frugal. I haven''t bought a car since I was 16 or any diamonds since I was 17. I have a lot of property. I''ve invested my money and I don''t have to make any more, thank God, because I''m set," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Washington, February 18 : Hugh Jackman will reportedly share the stage with Beyonce Knowles, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens for a musical gala at the Academy Awards ceremony.

New Delhi, February 16 : Beyonce Knowles prefers hitting the bed rather than frolicking around after having a few drinks.

The R&B queen has revealed that she barely yields to alcohol and is a dull drunk who keeps to herself, reports the China Daily.

She said: "Well, I don''t drink often. But when I''m drunk, I''m very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep. I don''t think I''m much fun."

The ''Single Ladies'' hitmaker further insisted that she would rather remains at bay from drugs than fall into the category of being "cool".

Washington, Feb 13 : Singers Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Hudson have both bagged prizes at the 40th National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards in Los Angeles.

Beyonce, who opened the show with her song Halo, picked up the award for outstanding female artist and Oscar-winner Hudson won the outstanding new artist award, reports Contactmusic.

New Delhi, Feb 13 : Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she kept her wedding to rapper Jay-Z secret because she wanted to `cherish' the commitment of marriage rather than the big day itself.

"I think that people can put way too much emphasis on the day. It''s just so temporary and it goes away in a second. And then you have this commitment you made, and I don''t know if people cherish it as much as they should," she said.

Beyonce, who tied the knot with Jay-Z in a secret ceremony last April, has admitted that she never wanted a big wedding because she likes to keep it personal, reports China Daily.
