London, Jan 14 : Taking another jibe at ex-pal Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole has said that Posh's clothing range is for the "older woman".

Earlier, the X Factor judge had said in a Vogue interview that the former Spice Girl did not support her in the wake of accusations that husband Ashley had a one-night stand with a hairdresser.

In the interview, the 25-year-old star also said she would not wear any of the clothes from Posh's fashion range.

Apparently, her bandmate Kimberley tried to play down Cole's comment by saying that the starlet meant the clothes were for women older than them.

London, Jan 12: Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has been voted the celebrity women would most like as their best friend in a new poll.

The 25-year-old won the votes after her successful stint as an X Factor judge, reports the Telegraph.

A spokesman for Internet market research company www. onepoll. com, which carried out the poll, said: "Cheryl would make a great best friend.

The 25-year-old singer claimed she was disappointed when Posh did not get in touch to support her after it was revealed that Chelsea ace Ashley had cheated.

"She was in my hotel room during the World Cup - we've had barbecues together. So I was quite shocked by that," The Sun quoted Cheryl as saying.

Cheryl, 25, will appear on the February cover of the magazine, in which she talks about her marriage to 28-year-old Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole.

According to her, Cole is a "nice guy" despite his "horrendous" infidelity with a hairdresser.

"Look Ashley''s young and he''s got a young mentality for his age," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

London, Jan 05: Popstar Cheryl Cole has revealed that her husband Ashley Cole might have cheated on her, but his behaviour now appears to be improving.

Cheryl Cole said that Ashley, who bedded a hairstylist named Aimee Walton, cheated on her at that time because he was immature.

She said that she felt horrendous when she learnt that Ashley had bedded a hairstylist, and then offered her a holiday or abortion, when she feared she was pregnant.

In a poll involving more than 20,000 teenagers, The Girls Aloud star received four times as many votes as any other female celebrity.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson, 18, came second followed by television presenter Alexa Chung, 25.

Singer Lily Allen, 23, landed at the fourth position with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, 22 at the fifth.
