US markets closed strong on Monday as President Trump clarified that United States will continue its emergency measures against coronavirus till April 30.
Chinese authorities and President Donald Trump have signed a mini-trade deal, leading to cut in certain tariffs. However, the deal would be announced on Friday.
President Trump backed down on his tariffs increase on Chinese goods as the stock markets plunged. As the treasury yields turned negative, stock markets witnessed strong selling. Investors panicked and this led President Trump to have a conversation with banking leaders on the issue.
