Modi becomes a poet in blogosphere

Narendra ModiGujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who started blogging in the run up to the general elections this year has now started writing poems for his net fans.

Modi’s first poem on cyber space ‘how and when did you become a poet’ (posted today on his official blog – www. narendramodi. com) interestingly is devoted to describe how a poem and a poet are born and the emotions involved.

According to sources (close to him), the poem was written in response to a query he received from one of his net-fans who wanted to know how he became a poet.

Narendra Modi Ahmedabad, Oct 1: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had warned first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru against China in November 1950.

Modi said this while inaugurated a community hall at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial in Ahmedabad city, where President Pratibha Patil was also present.

Narendra-ModiAhmedabad, Sep 30 : The Home Ministry has filed a revised affidavit in the Ahmedabad court against the Narendra Modi led-Government''s argument over the fake encounter of 19-year- old Gujarat college girl Ishrat Jahan and three others.

The three-page affidavit was prepared by the Home Ministry and settled by the Attorney General GE Vahanvati.

The Gujarat Government claims that its police officials acted on inputs provided by the Union Home Ministry, which dubbed the four as Lashkar operatives and alleged that the Centre had given credibility to the reports that Ishrat Jahan was on a mission to target Gujarat Chief Minister.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Ahmedabad, Sep. 27 : People in Ahmedabad enjoyed the traditional vibrant folk dance of Garba with full fervour on the eighth day of Navartri.

Clad in traditional colourful dresses with a lot of mirror and handwork, boys and girls danced to the fullest enjoying every moment of the festival on Saturday.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and many celebrities made their presence felt at one of the community Garba events.

Men and women of all age groups and musical groups had been practising for the nine-day festival for weeks together.

Modi inaugurates Forensic Science University in Gandhinagar

Narendra ModiThe Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratory has added another feather to its cap by commencing the formal inauguration of the Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU) at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) on Tuesday.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the university, in the presence of Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Radhakrishnan.

Modi claimed that the university is the first-of-its-kind in the world.

On this occasion, M. S. Dahiya's book: Crime Scene Management - A Scientific Approach was also released.

The university has been set up at Gandhinagar.

“There is nothing against Modi. No enquiry has named him,” Jaitley told reporters here.

When asked whether Modi would resign after the SC directions, Jaitley said since the matter was pending before the apex court, the party would not like to say anything more on the issue.
