Non-bailable warrant issued against Raj Thackrey

Finally, non-bailable warrant (NBW) has been issued against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray.  The Mumbai Police have said that he might be arrested soon.

Jamshedpur Court issues non-bailable warrant against Raj Thackeray

Raj Thackeray Mumbai, Oct. 20 : A court in Jamshedpur on Monday forwarded a non-bailable warrant (NBW) in the name of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray to Mumbai police.

The NBW has been issued against Thackeray for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Biharis. Mumbai Police said that the NBW would be executed this week.

Thackeray is presently out of the city.

Raj Thackeray says no Jet Airways to take off from Mumbai if lay-offs continue

Raj ThackerayMumbai/Hyderabad, Oct. 15 : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday warned that no Jet Airways flights would be allowed to take off from Mumbai if the airline continued with its policy of laying off employees because of the crisis affecting the aviation sector.

Thackeray''s warning came as the airline said that it would lay off 800 cabin crew and reduce services to cut costs.

Raj Faces Double Blow

A non- bailable arrest warrant has been issued against Raj Thackeray by the judicial Raj Faces Double Blow magistrate AK Tiwary. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief has been asked to appear on November 17 for the hearing.

The action was taken when a city advocate Hamid Raza Khan lodged a complaint against Thackeray for his “incendiary remarks” that were highly provocative in nature, and for making anti-Bihari and anti-north Indian remarks in Mumbai last year.

The court has directed Mumbai Police Commissioner to execute the warrant by sending a copy of its order to him. 

Raj Thackeray withdraws stir after accepting Bachchan''s apology

Raj Thackeray Mumbai, Sept 11 : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Thursday said he has accepted Amitabh Bachchan’s apology and added that he is withdrawing his party’s agitation over Jaya Bachchan’s alleged "anti-Marathi" remarks.

Speaking to media, Raj Thackeray said: “We accept Big B’s apology because he went public and we are withdrawing our agitation.”

He further said that Jaya Bachchan should not speak on issues that she has no idea of, adding that, she should not speak impromptu and should stick to a script.
