London, Jan 29 : British director Ridley Scott is set to produce a film version of hit 1980s TV series The A-Team, according to reports.

Industry paper Variety has claimed that Scott is keen on a remake with military vets Face, Hannibal, Murdoch and BA Baracus having fought in the Middle East rather than Vietnam.

The cult TV show starred George Peppard as Hannibal and Mr T as BA Baracus.

Joe Carnahan is lined up to direct - with Bruce Willis and rapper Ice Cube possibly starring, reports the Sun.

The film is expected to hit cinemas next year.
