P&G takes HUL to court again

P-G-HULAccording to the sources Procter & Gamble has decided to pull HUL to the court on the recent advertisement issue. P&G produces Tide detergent while Hindustan Unilever makes Rin detergent.

Once again the global Inc. is to drag HUL to the court alleging improper promotional activities of the company. It has said that HUL is still playing dirty marketing tactics.

Global FMCG giant Procter and Gamble has informed that a new TV commercial by HUL is offering Rs one crore prize money to its consumers who prove any other detergent to be superior to Rin. P&G is saying that this advertisement has been just same as the ad it pulled out last month after a court order.

Tide is the most popular product that comes under P&G's product line. The Calcutta High Court had last month restrained HUL from telecasting the Rin ad. The ad appeared to be mocking at the other brand Tide. Now P&G has filed fresh case against the Indian FMCG major in the same court.

However, HUL has said that its new ad 'Rin safedi ki challenge' has never violated the court order.
