Prime Minister visits AIIMS for Routine health checkup

Manmohan-SinghA routine medical checkup was undergone Sunday by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The Prime Minister, whose test results were normal, took the test almost after a year his coronary bypass surgery.

An official of the PM's Office specified that Dr. Singh went to AIIMS in order to take his routine medical evaluation.

"Several tests were conducted on him for cardiovascular assessment as a follow up to his redo coronary bypass surgery which was performed on him almost a year ago. All the tests were found to be normal," specified Prime Minister's personal physician K. Srinath Reddy.

It was last January when Dr. Singh was operated upon at the AIIMS to remove five arterial blockages. He was discharged February 1.
